See Racing Differently: Why I Started Throttle Point Media | Motorsports Photography & Storytelling

There’s a certain magic that happens at the track.
It’s not just the roar of the engines or the blur of speed as a car rips through the apex. It’s the tension before the green flag, the quiet focus in the paddock, the grease-stained hands and high-fives that follow a comeback stint. It’s the story behind the racing, and too often, that story doesn’t get told the way it deserves.
That’s why I started Throttle Point Media.
From Freelance to Full-Throttle
I’ve spent the last few years freelancing around the motorsports world: covering grassroots endurance races, chasing moments as a spectator at bigger events, and steadily sharpening my eye for what makes this sport so captivating. But recently, I felt the pull to do more. To create something bigger than just my name in a byline or watermark.
Throttle Point Media is the result of that shift; a step forward from being “a guy with a camera” to building a brand with purpose. A brand that stands for teams who want to be seen not just as racers, but as storytellers, builders, underdogs, and contenders.
This isn’t just about me growing as a creative; it’s about giving teams the kind of representation that matches the passion they bring to the track.
Capturing More Than Just a Car on Track
Don’t get me wrong: a well-timed panning shot of a car at full tilt is always going to be cool. But what really draws people in are the moments. The mid-race repairs. The sunrise rolling over a pit lane. The look on a driver’s face after clawing back five positions in a stint. That’s where the real magic lives.
Throttle Point Media is about chasing those moments and elevating the way teams, drivers, and events are seen.
Why Pro-Level Media Matters
In today’s world, media is your first impression. Whether you're trying to attract sponsors, build a fan base, or simply show off the blood, sweat, and gears that went into race weekend, how you’re represented visually makes a huge difference.
Too often, grassroots and semi-pro teams are left without consistent, high-quality coverage, relying on quick phone snaps, scattered updates, or whatever’s available. I saw an opportunity to help fill that gap by offering imagery that’s not just sharp, but story-driven; something that reflects the heart and hustle of racing.
What Makes Throttle Point Different?
I treat every shoot like it’s Daytona, even if we’re at a small club track with a dozen cars in the field.
Here’s what you can expect from Throttle Point Media:
-
Professional quality: Clean, crisp, dynamic images (and eventually video) that showcase the speed and the story.
-
Team-first approach: I work closely with you to understand what moments matter most.
-
Motorsports fluency: You don’t have to explain what a stint, scrutineering, or Code 35 is — I’m already tracking it.
The Bigger Picture
Throttle Point isn’t just a brand. It’s a mission:
To help people see racing differently.
To give underdog teams the same level of visual storytelling usually reserved for factory-backed efforts. To highlight the humanity in the sport — the chaos, the calm, and everything in between.
If that’s the kind of coverage you want for your team or event, I’d love to be there.
Because every lap tells a story, and it deserves to be captured the right way.
