Gearing Up For The 2026 Season

The offseason is never really quiet.

While the cars are in shops and calendars are still filling in, this is the part of the year where the foundation for the next season gets built. For teams, drivers, and sponsors, that means planning budgets, locking schedules, and refining strategy. For me, it means doing the same—just from behind the camera.

As Throttle Point Media heads into the 2026 season, the focus is simple: be more prepared, more intentional, and more valuable to the teams we work with.

Lessons from the Last Season

Every season teaches you something. 2025 was about growth—new tracks, new series, first paid clients, and the transition from operating under my own name to building Throttle Point Media as a dedicated motorsports brand.

Trackside, that meant learning how to anticipate moments better: pit stops that happen faster than expected, race-ending incidents that unfold in seconds, and quiet moments in the paddock that often tell the best stories. Off track, it meant refining workflows, improving turnaround times, and better understanding what teams actually need from their media, not just what looks good on Instagram.

Those lessons shape how 2026 is being approached.

Raising the Bar for Coverage

The goal for this season isn’t simply “more races.” It’s better coverage.

That means:

  • Clearer expectations before race weekend

  • Shot lists tailored to each team’s priorities

  • Stronger storytelling beyond just on-track action

  • Consistent delivery timelines teams can rely on

Motorsports moves fast. The media needs to keep up. The aim is to deliver imagery that works just as well for sponsors and press releases as it does for social media and end-of-season recaps.

Planning Earlier, Executing Cleaner

One of the biggest takeaways from last year was how much smoother weekends run when planning starts early. Outreach for 2026 is already underway;  connecting with teams well before green flags fly to understand goals, schedules, and budgets.

Early conversations make better work possible. They allow time to align on coverage needs, confirm logistics, and ensure that when race weekend arrives, the focus stays where it belongs: on racing.

Looking Ahead

The 2026 season represents another step forward for Throttle Point Media. The objective is to continue building long-term relationships with teams and sponsors who value strong visuals and consistent storytelling;  media that reflects the effort happening in the car, the garage, and the paddock.

If you’re a team, driver, or sponsor already planning your 2026 season, now is the time to start the conversation. The earlier the plan, the better the result.

The track may be quiet for now, but the work for next season has already started.
